Alexandra started her law degree in Aruba and graduated from Leiden University in 2012 (LLM in private law). During her studies she worked as a volunteer for the Kinder- en Jongerenrechtswinkel, a student organisation that provides legal aid to youngsters. After graduating, she worked for several years at an international children’s rights organisation, Defence for Children, as a legal advisor and project coordinator. After briefly having worked as a paralegal at two different law firms, it was clear that becoming an attorney would be the next step in her career.

Alexandra has been an attorney since 2017 and works mainly in the area of (international) family law. She handles divorce cases, maintenance issues, matters regarding family relationships, parental authority and contact rights and name changes.
