Interesting cases
Our practice is divers and we deal with both national and international cases. There’s a good balance between advisory work and litigation and we deal with cases that truly matter. Complex issues, with large and sometimes principled interests at stake.
Collaboration
Our attorneys work together closely and on an equal footing. This gives access to a vast amount of knowledge and experience. It benefits the quality of our work and advances the professional development of our people.
People-first mindset
It’s not all about billable hours. We value creating an environment where everyone feels at home, enjoys the work they are doing and can develop themselves profesionally.
If you didn’t find an opening that matches your profile, but believe we should create a spot for you, we’re happy to hear your case. You can send unsolicited applications to Kirsten Boele.
Every attorney started out as a student. Wondering if this profession is for you? No better way to find out than to apply for an internship and take a look behind the scenes. Applications can be addressed to Alexandra Barendsen. Would you rather visit us first? No problem, feel free to contact us for a cup of coffee.
‘If you like variety, you’re in the right place. Between advisory work and litigation, between national and international cases and between technically complex cases and cases where it mainly comes down to who is the better negotiator.’
Bert van Mieghem – partner
‘You quickly get to handle your own cases and are given responsibilities and there’s plenty of client contact. We work together closely and have many substantive discussions, so we can rest assured that the work we send out is solid.’
Mark Hofman – attorney
I started out as an attorney, but that role did not suit me. I was ready for a new job, but didn’t enjoy the thought of that coming with new colleagues. Luckily, I was able to find that new role within the firm.
Alexandra Barendsen – business developer
‘No day is the same. The work is varied, as are my clients and as an attorney I am given the freedom to develop myself in a way that fits me.’
Willemijn Lenders – attorney
‘Variety, space, appreciation and togetherness. Those are the words that best describe working here, as far as I’m concerned. The work is varied, there is room for personal input, participation is appreciated and we are always there for each other.’
Annelies Meijers – practice support worker
“As a working student here, you are immediately included in an open and dynamic office. The lines of communication are short, everyone is approachable, and you are given the space to learn and contribute ideas. That makes the work fun and challenging.”
Marije Gelderblom – student worker
At Wybenga Advocaten, you are given plenty of room to develop.
Attorney-trainees receive intensive guidance during their traineeship and are encouraged to learn from all the lawyers who practice here, each in their own way. You will have every opportunity to explore what you like and what you want to improve in. We pay attention to increasing professional knowledge, but also to developing non-legal skills. After all, these are at least as important for becoming a good attorney.
Employees are encouraged to specialise further. They can count on support in expanding their own practice, and we are happy to give space to new initiatives and ideas.
