Her practice consists mainly of port, trade and fisheries cases and has a strong international orientation. She deals with maritime (labour) law and complex European fisheries regulations, as well as liability law and subsidy law. She litigates in both civil and administrative law cases. Diederik has extensive experience in attachments and executions and particular expertise in ship auctions.

In addition to her legal work, Diederik is treasurer of the Stichting Landelijk Ongedocumenteerden Steunpunt.
